Sheeple
Sheeple is a derogatory term that highlights the passive herd behavior of people easily controlled by a governing power which likens them to sheep, a herd animal that is easily led about. The term is used to describe those who voluntarily acquiesce to a suggestion without critical analysis or research in large part because the majority of others possess a similar mindset.
Wikipedia - Sheeple
The sheeple are real and they form the majority on this planet. They are the powerless and controlled part of the system. Ironically they are often made to believe they have influence by for example voting for politicians. They don't see the extent to which they are influenced by for example propaganda and mind control through for example the mass media and entertainment industry and the educational system largely owned and controlled by the power elite.
Scientists at the University of Leeds believe they may have found why humans flock like sheep and birds, subconsciously following a minority of individuals.
Rick Nauert - "Herd" Mentality Explained
Perhaps the most obvious flaw of democracy is that 99% of voters are highly uninformed about many political issues and much more. Most voters obviously have no clue how power works otherwise they wouldn't waste their time voting for the political puppets presented to them by the power elite in the first place. Most people simply vote because it makes them feel good, because the political elite and the media keep telling them to fulfil their 'duty' as 'good citizens' in this fantastic 'democracy'. But democracy was corrupt from the very beginning when the Greek elite invented it to give the Greek people the illusion of choice and influence. That kind of phony democracy, though evolved in some way, is still maintained by today's intelligent power elite and of course by the ignorant sheeple who keep believing in it.
Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.
Martin Luther King, Jr. - Strength to Love
The sheeple are easily recognizable, they are literally everywhere. Obviously the sheeple don't understand much of the system to which they are enslaved. The large majority prefers entertainment over education. Thinking for themselves is obviously not their business, they get their ideas and beliefs from the media and from other like-minded sheeple. An endless circle of repetition of the same. The core of mind control. It is also a case of wilful ignorance, perhaps the worst kind of all ignorances.

George Carlin - Politicians... and the public
Everybody complains about politicians. Everybody says they suck. Well, where do people think these politicians come from? They don't fall out of the sky. They don't pass through a membrane from another reality. They come from American parents and American families, American homes, American schools, American churches, American businesses and American universities, and they are elected by American citizens. This is the best we can do folks. This is what we have to offer. It's what our system produces: Garbage in, garbage out. If you have selfish, ignorant citizens, you're going to get selfish, ignorant leaders. Term limits ain't going to do any good; you're just going to end up with a brand new bunch of selfish, ignorant Americans. So, maybe, maybe, maybe, it's not the politicians who suck. Maybe something else sucks around here... like, the public. (video)
George Carlin - Napalm and Silly Putty
People are fucking nuts. This country is full of nitwits and assholes. You ever notice that? ... And they all vote. In fact, sometimes you get the impression that they're the only ones who vote. ... And nobody seems to notice. Nobody seems to care. That's what the owners count on. The fact that Americans will probably remain willfully ignorant of the big red, white and blue dick that's being jammed up their assholes every day, because the owners of this country know the truth. It's called the American Dream, 'cause you have to be asleep to believe it. (video)
George Carlin - Life Is Worth Losing
The entertainment age is dumbing down people on a scale not seen on this earth before. More of one thing means less of another. Most people do not care to properly inform themselves about what's going on in this world and simply swallow what the mainstream media feed them day in and day out. And even those few people who do inform themselves often get fed bias and misinformation via for example the mainstream educational system. Not surprisingly practically all of it is owned by the power elite.
None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free.
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe - Elective Affinities
Although propaganda today is more powerful than ever before the sheeple believe they are not under its influence. Sheeple have a hard time accepting truth because it makes them feel uncomfortable or it doesn't fit with the worldview they get on a daily basis from the mainstream media which is owned by the power elite. In reality the people are slaves to the system installed and maintained by the power elite. The people are forced to pay taxes while the super-rich don't by means of the tax havens they installed and maintain for themselves. Etcetera.
Every nation gets the government it deserves.
Joseph de Maistre - Lettres et Opuscules
An ancient axiom of politics teaches that a spoiled people invite despotic control.
Richard M. Weaver - Ideas Have Consequences
A nation of sheep will beget a government of wolves.
John W. Whitehead - A Government of Wolves
In a democracy we see that the more ignorant and spoiled the population becomes the more undemocratic the government will be. The power elite propagate globalization which is opposed to democracy and sovereignty and they draw ever more power from nation states to themselves. They make extensive use of propaganda which they spread via their mainstream media in order to influence the behaviour of the people. It's all about power. A nation of sheep gets a government of wolves.
